Carrie I am sorry I didn't get on last night but I fell asleep in the chair about 7...I was pooped from being outside in the heat painting the picnic table and bench I guess...LOL I really have to get myself in gear or I will be in bad shape in Disney World...LOL

Below is tango's post to the other forum. She has said she doesn't mind if I share with us ladies here. In fact, she wants that. She's excited to attend Sway as are 3 or 4 others there.
Hope everyone is safe from flooding and tornadoes. My son lives in Houston. They are dry but lost their modem/playstation to lightning. TV survived. His comment to me on the phone: "How did you guys survive before the Internet?" My response: "And you still have smart phones!" He was complaining that they were bored with nothing to do, and I said "You're both musicians, duh! Compose something! Arrange something for violin & sax! Practice!"
It may be a while before the internet returns because it's not their modem, it's Comcast! We're getting rain right now. Looks dark and nasty (not tornadoish--I'm a Midwestern girl) so will probably drizzle a lot.
Had an excellent 2-hour dance lesson yesterday. We are going to attack foxtrot until we look halfway decent doing it. We've made progress, but it's still the most difficult dance IMHO. Then we worked the second hour on samba. I told our teacher to be as picky as he can, because I want to impress when I'm in Soho. I do know all the things I should be doing, it's just getting all the different body parts to function in harmony!
ONE WEEK FROM TODAY, I LEAVE FOR NYC! I think I'm all prepared: Sway T-shirts, new dance shoes to break in, Vera Bradley bag, fancy camera charged, external phone charger.

Thanks for the encouragement. Remember months ago, when we laughed over the "price of joining the Sisterhood" And I said, let's pretend we're British, because in my case it was 6 pounds.
Price of sitting more, moving less...yes, and the aging process. So now it's 8 pounds - and time to get after it.
