Oh, gosh...no big surprise I guess. Maybe he would be better off with someone who's already fond of the rural life.
For some reason, this situation brings to mind a famous World War I (no, I wasn't around then) song, titled "How You Gonna Keep 'em Down on the Farm After They've Seen Paree."

Just popping in for a quick hello!! Miss you guys!!!!!!! CEK.....excited that you get to start PT!! Hopefully, we will all be back to our pre-injury selves soon!! April......love to you and your girl!! End of the school year means super busy at work right now.....putting plans in place for next year!! Then.....summer school (cue dramatic music)!! My mom is about the same. Looking forward to meeting my new grandson, the doctor has my daughter coming in once a week now!!
Hope you are all doing well. I will pop in when I can!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoCassidy, were you asked to teach summer school or did you just want to?
Hi, Annie! To answer your question......I was asked to, and I want to, lol!! The kids in my classroom all attend summer school as they are special needs. I am the teaching assistant, not the teacher. I choose to work summer school because it makes the transition in September a little easier. Our classroom is K-3, so we keep most of the kids for 2-3 years. Any new students will be attending the same program, so I will be able to get to know them and have them feel a little more comfortable coming into the room in the fall. Anything that I can do to make life a little easier for these munchkins, I do gladly!! They have so much to deal with already!! xoxoxoxoxoxo
Those kids are lucky to have you, Cassidy. When I taught special ed. in a middle school, I hated the ending in the spring and then new beginning each fall; I thought it would be easier to just go year round and get time off during the 12 months. I know the kids will be glad you are there, and I hope it is a great time for you as well.
