Re: Finally, THE FINALE

I never want to upset our camaraderie and sweet relationship - so normally try not to interject politics...but I personally am very proud of the USA today.  I recognize that some may not feel the same.

Happy that the President sang "Amazing Grace" at the funeral.

Relieved that they have shot dead one of the escaped murderers.

Long wave the Stars and Stripes in its rainbow hue.

Re: Finally, THE FINALE

Some of you may remember how much I enjoy watching Who Do You Think You Are?....Do you remember that Tom

Bergeron is going to be one of those featured this coming season?

It's going to be great.  I copied some info I saw on it, let me find it.

kicks off on Sunday, July 26 at 9 p.m.

Additionally, BI can exclusively report that TLC will air "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling's "Who Do You Think You Are?" episode from the British version of the series this summer, as well.

Here's what to expect from the summer season lineup, according to TLC:

· Tom Bergeron, who is aware of his French Canadian roots on his paternal side, but wants to know what brought his ancestors to North America. He goes as far back as his 10x great grandmother to find the answer.

Re: Finally, THE FINALE

And Sundays are the nights for the summer run of Celebrity Family Feud.  I don't think our guys were on last Sunday (the first of the series) So I guess we just check for it (or maybe they'll tweet) each Sunday.

My first boyfriend, in the first grade, Leon Lee Lorensen. Love all that alliteration!

First grade, eh, Annie?!! Was he hot?!!! LOL Do you even remember what he looked like? I don't think I remember ANYone from 1st grade!!! LOL Oh--except my teacher was Mrs. Carlson.

No, he wasn't hot, but I still have his school picture. He had blond hair, brown eyes, freckles, and a gap between his front teeth. I moved to a neighboring town at the end of first grade, and he wrote me a long letter on notebook paper when I was in second grade. I don't remember communicating with him after that. Maybe it was because I soon found another boyfriend for 2nd and 3rd grades. His twin sister was my best friend.

Re: Finally, THE FINALE

Just checking in for a quick visit.  I will be watching my 3 grandbabies so "mommy and daddy" can go to  a showing of the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" at 11pm  ...

So I most likely won't be on tonight...

Hope you all had a good day today...

HI ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been busy with R/L so haven't had time to chat.  I hope everybody is doing great and staying out of the darn heat.  Gonna be around the 100 mark here all weekend.

Hey HRM...I know what you mean about being busy...I am behind in RL due to our AC being out for a day and a half this week...but it is fixed now.  We had near to and 100 for the past couple weeks most day but it is in the upper 80 here but humid because of the rain from the thunderstorms.

Hope you get some relief from the heat soon,,,

And this with Val....

TYVM VIEW!!!!

I loved both of those interviews.  It definitely gives you a different outlook on the show and the people on it when you hear the pro's talking like they did.  It sure appears they are really happy doing the show together as a group.

I agree I thought they both were really good interviews...
