Thanks, April....*waving* back! Where does the time go? It's passed quickly--but we've had so much fun and we are so blessed to have each other.

How are things at your house? Hope everyone is doing ok....and that you recover quickly from your surgery next week. Will be thinking of you and you'll continue to be in my prayers. I'm sure it will go fine--and you are spunky so you probably won't feel a thing afterwards!! LOL

Yeah I know....your right the time has passed quickly but it has been so much fun.....LOL

things are good here......we are having a bit of a different fourth for us......we usually go to the beach for the day but this year beacause my daughter can't be in the sun for long we are switching it to a family cook out here at home.....but it's going to be fun  and thanks for the prayers.....they say it will just be a small incision so I don't think it should be that bad

 
I'm sure you will have a nice BBQ at home.  THat's what we are doing too.

Well, before it gets too crazy, I need to start thinking about breakfast--and preparing food for this afternoon!

I think I told you about my grandson's similar surgery. Didn't seem to keep him down! The thing that was traumatizing for him at the time was being in the hospital--even though Mom was there with him all the time. It was all the strangers coming in probing him, but he was only about 2 years old then. The only scar is where the drainage tube was for a couple months but I don't think even he can see it!!! LOL It is on the back of his side.

wow....he was only 2 and had kidney surgery.....poor baby......glad it didn't keep him down long though   I usually bounce back from things quickly so hopefully it won't be too bad

ok bye Jet  I got lucky and my hubby said he wanted to do all of the cooking today (that doesn't happen often).....LOL....so I can just relax ....think I might try making the exploding star cookies View told us about though
