Hey Vmmm how are you doing tonight????

Hi, CEK. I'm good. We just went for a short boat ride and came in to my middle daughter Facetiming us from camp. Sounds like she's having fun. I loved the pictures of your grandbaby at the DWTS show. So cute. Is she 5 today?

Oh that wasn't my grandbaby...It was a little girl that went to the show for her birthday...(sorry for the confusion about that)
My grand daughter was 4 today...

Face time is nice...I do that with my daughter in DC

LOL. That's funny. I didn't remember hearing that your granddaughter was going to the show for her b-day. My little one is about the same age as the girl in the pics. I'm taking her to see the Wiggles as a b-day present; I don't think the DWTS live show would be her cup of tea. It seems like Val was really sweet to the little girl, though. It's going to be hard for her parents to top that birthday.

I think maybe you are thinking of EC's grand daughter.  I know that she (EC) went to the show.

I'm doing very well.

How about you?  Recovered from the granddaughter's birthday party?  Did you play games?  Pin the tail on the donkey, etc?

I am good.  Yes I have recovered I think.   No games like that really...She had a Tangled/Rapunzel Princess Party. They had it at a the hotel meeting room where my daughter in law has her monthly business meetings and then were able to use the pool for a pool party...It was nice not having all the little ones running around in their house.  The children had a ball but it was a bit chilly in the pool last night they said.  She had puzzles, and coloring pages for them to do.  All of the children that came were younger than Kenzie so most were about 3.  There was I think 5 little ones and then Kaleb and Kaylee the baby.  Several couldn't come because they were out of town.

Sounds like a great party.  Bet they all had fun.

Hi Vmm......hope you are still here.  Was it your daughter that did robots?  I see they have a show about people who build robots and then fight with them.  Do you watch?

Different daughter, but she does actually do Lego robotics. It's the middle school version of robotics. The camp she's doing is an all-girls tech camp. My older daughter is going next week, but her camp is co-ed.

Yes, we have been watching Battle Bots! Dd2 actually called last night to find out how it went. Dd1 is already trying to figure out how she can watch it when she's at camp the next 2 Sunday nights.

Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!
