Hey Tennessee...yes how is your house coming???
I am having a hard enough time getting a bathroom done, I don't think I could handle building a house at my age...LOL
Well ... let's just say we are FINALLY all moved in - long story, short, is that we built with a custom builder on a vacant lot on a fully developed street - most of the other houses are 20-25 years old. Our lot was sold to us as having "city sewer" which we later found out it did not - and septic wasn't going to work on the lot. At the point we found out the house had already been sheetrocked. Ummm ... yeah ... so anyway ... the details aren't even really worth getting into, but it was pretty ugly. VERY happy to say we now have running water and flushing toilets!!!!! Hip-hip-hooray!!!! 😜
All that aside ... CONGRATS to Cassidy again on beautiful Tristan (in case she missed my post near the end of the last thread). April ... hope you are healing well, mama ... always thinking of you and your daughter. I know many in our group have been dealing with physical and emotional trials ... I want you all to know that even though I don't post often that I am continually sending wishes for peace and love in your directions. What a fabulous group of women we are! Cheers to US!! 😊😘
Thanks for sending the love Tennessee...I think of you all all the time...even when you don't post, you are still part of the Sisterhood and we are a "Fabulous Group of Women" ...

I couldn't let midnight come without dropping by to say how very glad I am that we sisters all made it to this message board. July 14, 2014 was an adventurous evening. Did not expect that kind of adventure related to a message board. But then except for the ABC board, I have not been on another message board.
Thank you Luv for the cake and the song: wonderful.
Congratulations, Cassidy, on your new grandson.
I wish you all a joyful year to come and am so very grateful to those of you who post more often and strengthen our bonds. And even though I am not on that often, I do think about the matters each of you has shared and pray for healing whether it is from bullying, from broken bones, from ear infections, from losing a dad or a mom, or having a healthy daughter having to fight cancer, or the daily grind of teaching even when you love teaching, or an autistic child, etc., etc. It is wonderful to behold the support that so many of you give to each other. Thank you all. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
Well said KOS !!!!!!!!!! and HELLO *waves*
Because it is anniversary time: One of my strongest memories is of you, Luv, rowing over to the ABC Board and coming to my defense and blaming yourself when I quoted from an article that you posted on this board and posted the quote on the ABC board. I was surprised. But isn't that exactly what sisters do for each other? Someone on the ABC board had taken exception and suggested I had misrepresented the article, maybe even purposely. And then of course we found out a few weeks later that the article you posted was correct and I had accurately quoted it.

Well, I must go now too!!! I have PT in the morning and my first Acupuncture appointment in the afternoon...
Oh and please keep my oldest daughter (she is my stepdaugher but I love her like my own) in your thoughts. She is the one expecting in August and they put her in the hospital for observation overnight because her BP was elevated and she had a headache....this is exactly what happened with her fist and she is only 36 weeks (her fist was delivered at 36 weeks too because of her BP she had eclampsia) She is 41 so things are a bit harder for her too!!!
I wish all you a good night and Happy Anniversary Dreams....
I will try to pop in before PT but not sure...Will see you after I get home...
Love ya and HUGS to you all...

Happy belated anniversary, sisters! Loved your poetry and cakes, Luv - they always make me hungry.
Hope all will work out just fine in the end for you stepdaughter and baby, CEK.
I had a planned C-section at 45 years, it was set down for 37.5 weeks. She is only 10 days away from that, CEK. Is she carrying a smallish bub? (I had never had a vaginal birth before and the child was on the 98 percentile in size - they offered to let me labour; I wasn't keen given the size of bubs - he ended up being 4,340 grams even with 2 1/2 weeks missing). .
Sorry to not come to the party. We had a tree falling across our driveway in the middle of the night. Our State Emergency Services had to come and clear the way for me. Tried to attach a photo through tinypic, but didn't manage. The trunk was so big, I couldn't reach around it with my arms.
