Does that mean no Cakes???
Maybe later...did you see the special cake and poem that I wrote for the sisterhood?Yes, I saw all of those cakes, awesome as always. I want an Easy Bake oven like yours!!!
Picked up a Hallmark Dream Book yesterday, showing all the new Christmas ornaments. One was an Easy-Bake Oven ornament, and it looked much more modern than the one my daughter had way back there. It made me think of you, Luv.

I don't think they make them like the one Luv has anymore, but wouldn't it be nice to have one????I always wanted one as a kid, but never got one. So now, I live vicariously thru Luv
I never had one either.
Me either. I'm so old that if I had had one, people would have thought I was crazy!!

So what does everyone think of Robert being in Australia with Kym??????
When you have his money, you can do what you want. This may be one of those "too hot not to cool down" affairs, or it may last. Only time will tell.

I had an etch a sketch and wanted a spirograph but never got one...lolLOL...ok so far 3 of us had an etch-a-sketch did anyone else have a view master?????
Yep! I had one of those because they went back to dinosaur days. I thought it was pretty risque to see women naked above the waist as they went about daily living in some primitive village! At least that is what was on one of my disks(?).

Well, it is still July 14 here on the West Coast, so before going to bed I just wanted to pop in and say HAPPY 1st ANNIVERSARY to the Sisterhood! Very pleased to see so many of us were able to sign on. WELCOME BACK, GUNNER! Hope you will post more often again. We've missed you!
April, you are in my thoughts daily and I hope all goes well tomorrow for you. Sorry you hare having to go thru this 3 times now... but wishing you a quick recovery after this next procedure. I also hope that your daughter is doing better.
So sorry I wasn't able to get on the board this evening. This is the first time today I've been able to sneak a peek at the computer. Had 7 kids between 10 and 2 here today (all cousins) as well as niece, daughter, and SIL--and 1 BIG dog to mix it all up!. It was a very busy and crazy afternoon and evening capped off with a trip to Dairy Queen for ice cream after "DiDi's famous" (HA!) spaghetti dinner. Of course, once you feed children they get a 2nd wind so between supper and dessert there was a workout in the cul-de-sac on scooters and Tyco cars! Dog must have worn his foot pads a little raw running after the kids (he actually protects them) because he has been walking gingerly since they finished. But tomorrow's a new day and I'm certain he will be ready for another romp!!
I'm ready for bed myself--and all of you have gone, but just wanted to let you know I'm thinking of you all--and we had DQ in celebration of our 1st anniversary!!! Sorry you weren't able to join us!
((HUGS))) to everybody. Hope to be back to a more normal life in the next several days!! .....whatever "normal" is!!!
Meanwhile, let's paddle on!

Why have I never thought to do this....?
Hi sisters, catching up from behind. Sorry for any doubling up in the process. Apparently this works with a number of things. Celery, the stalk, not the root celery (celeriac) does it too.
