I saw those pics. I was fixated on the number of bags on the carrier. Only 5 which might be 3 for her and 2 for him. The bags are all pretty big, but don't know if I could get it all in 3 bags when you think about all the different types of clothes you have to have. I was also wondering about the coats they had on. Where in US is it cold enough right now for a coat. I do think it is winter in AU now.
It is sis. The middle months of Winter. We had a few snow flakes over the weekend. Nothing remained on the ground though. Last time we could scratch enough together to build a dirty snowman, about thigh high was in 1996. We do get frosted windscreens over night on quite a few nights in winter though. This is Adelaide Hills.
Here my little nature catastrophe of yesterday.

Polar opposite, well roughly. But don't worry, we are used to being confused with 'Austria'.

I had an etch a sketch and wanted a spirograph but never got one...lolLOL...ok so far 3 of us had an etch-a-sketch did anyone else have a view master?????
My son's therapist of about 6 or so years ago had a viewmaster. Many of the kids with autism, including my son, are apparently fascinated by them. Not sure they are still in the shops, but I got one back then.

Did you guys know that here in California, we are on water restrictions? Like we can only water our yards on certain days and times and need to reduce our consumption by about 25% over 2013? Some of my neighbors are letting their lawns go brown. I always tease Jet if she mentions anything about watering, asking if it is "her day". LOL
oh wow.....are you in a normally dry climate or is it just this year????
It's pretty bad up here for weather. We've had it so dry and hot we have over 300 forest fires. Over 13,000 people have been evacuated from their homes. They are moving them to air force bases in other provinces so they have some type of accommodation. They have brought in fire fighters from South Dakota, Mexico, Australia, and have over 650 from the army trying to battle them. I know there are more places that have come here but at the moment I can't remember them.
I am glad our boys contribute. It is middle of winter here, so they aren't needed urgently and they sure have a ton of experience in the worst conditions.

Hi sisters! I can't stay on long but I wanted to pop in and raise a virtual glass of Denim in a toast to each and every sister here. Happy Anniversary, friends! Here's to another wonderful year of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Message Board!!
Cheers, Booky! Thanks for taking my by your hand and bringing me over. Without you, it would have been over with the closure of the abc MnM thread.

I liked Toller Cranston, the Canadian back as a teenager. Artistically, he was truly ahead of his time. I remember his rivalry with Jan Hoffmann, the German, who I felt at the time, had something robotic about him in comparison.

I've never watched it, but I like Harry Potter a lot so maybe I'll check it out for JK Rowling and see if there is any truth to another HP book coming out in the near future.I thought she wasn't writing HP anymore......didn't she "end it" in the last book?
I thought so too, but then I saw this tweet a few days ago so I think she might not be done telling us Harry's story.
She takes a stance in moral/ethical issues - something I find appealing.

Sorry, we haven't watched any 'conventional' TV in years or recorded anything off it. No satellite or cable either. Someone less technologically challenged would have to find out. But I would definitely be in following it. Perhaps I'd even know a celebrity then. *lol*
