Re: 1st Anniversary for the Ladies Room! (they said it'd never last. Hah!!

Just wanted to let you all know that I made it back from a day at the zoo and lunch with my grandchildren and son and daughter in law and hubby...I did pretty good, but I need to do a bit more walking before Disney...LOL

It was hot but not to terribly bad...However I am pooped...so I am going to get a bite to eat and take a shower...I will try to pop back in before bed but if I don't I will see you all in the morning....

HUGS to you all!!!!

Re: 1st Anniversary for the Ladies Room! (they said it'd never last. Hah!!

Hey, Sisters!

Long time, long silence--but complete and utterly GRAND CHAOS here for the past week has dulled to a mild roar, as they say!  Had all 5 grandchildren plus daughter and SIL in residence for the week--and BOY, WERE WE BUSY!!!  Talk about a ZOO!!!!  Now we are down to daughter's 2 older ones--split between the grandparents' houses--so we are no longer chasing our tails!!  They took the baby with them and we'll meet them in Tahoe a week from Sunday for a few days to deliver the two kids back.

Will swap the girls at the mid-point--on Wednesday--but in the meantime all the grandparents will be sharing experiences with them in the local area....going together to museums, beach, etc.--something each day.  Will be busy all week starting on Sunday.  Nice thing is that I can actually think straight and don't feel like I'm running a short order kitchen (just cooking and clearing up dishes!) and rooming house!!!  LOL  Wouldn't trade it for the world, but, as someone else told me a while back, "It's nice to see you come and nice to see you go!"

Haven't had time to catch up on the board but I did see that APRIL is a new woman---sans kidney stone!!!  YEA!!!!!!  So glad you are doing well and are no longer in pain.  How is our niece?  Has she been able to resume chemo??  Sincerely hope she is doing ok.  It will help that Mom is well.

Granddaughter (coming up 9 in October) who is with us now has a strong interest in aviation so she wants to go to the hangar with PaPa tomorrow and check out what goes on at a busy regional airport with alot of warbirds and private aviation airplanes flying around.  We'll all go for breakfast at the restaurant there, then spend time on the flightline.  Should be good!  Haven't been out in a while.

Since we have an early start in the a.m., need to put the granddaughter to bed and consider an earlier bedtime for myself!

(((HUGS))) all around!  Have a great weekend and I will try to check in once or twice as well.

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. We fell in love, but our way. Maks

Well I am going to check the new and then I will start another day in "real life" ...LOL  I have a lot I want to acomplish in 2 1/2 weeks....
