yes she gets several different types of chemo drugs....this is just for her the roughest one  but her problem with toxicity from it is rare most kids don't have these problems with it.....she will have to be on this one for at least 3 and 1/2 more months

Oh dear, that is a long time. Will send up and extra prayer that things go well Monday.  After the 3 1/2 months will she be done with this type or do they "rotate" it back in later treatments?

she should be done with it if all of the test come back good at the end of the treatment cycle

Good......I will be praying for that.  Okay, going to head out now.....have sweet dreams.....

IMO It really isn't much different to the thongs you see all over the beaches.  *shrugs*

Maybe I'm not used to it, HRM.  The sun is so harsh here - we are directly under the ozone hole I believe -  that you'll see very few people so exposed.  But it is generally more prudish here than even decades ago in Europe.

do you live near the coast Gabriele????

The beach is about 40 mins drive away.  We don't go there very often though.  My little guy isn't a confident swimmer and some of the beaches are being dredged now.  We once went for a walk, with our feet on dry sand, when a black, triangular fin cut through the water, less than 2 m away (big drop through dredging, I presume).  It was probably only a dolphin, but my son is terrified since to put more than his big toe into the water.

Do you have nude beaches?  Or are those "out of style" now a days?  I would never be caught dead on one,  but with all of the talk about skimpy beach wear, that question popped into my mind. LOL

LOL.....yes we do......I have never been to it though......LOL....there is a LARGE nudist colony here too....LOL

... but he is drooling all the same.....  *lol*

No, you're not the only one gabriele. I think the ex she's referring to is Elena Grinenko, a pro dancer that dated Maks for a few years. Coincidentally, she also choreographed the following short dance for Meryl and Charlie.

http://youtu.be/il4nROri0Hw

I remember her from one of the Afterbuzz shows of season 18.  She said she competed with Maks the longest and he used to change their routines around in the last minute and then didn't admit to it.  *lol* She comes across as very likable, level headed.  Aren't she and her husband also the franchisees of the first DWM franchise studio that opened shortly after S.18 (somewhere near LA).
I can understand Karina's trepidation about marrying Maks and with him a clan of ~40 people relying on him.   You want to think long and hard about that.  [/quote888]

April, this is wonderful news. It's amazing the things we take for granted, not realizing how much happiness comes from them, like having your daughter home for the weekend.  Enjoy every minute of it!!

Re: 1st Anniversary for the Ladies Room! (they said it'd never last. Hah!!

My son and grandson boarded an AMTRAK train for LA this evening, headed for Disneyland. My DIL and the teens (17 and 19) will fly out there on Monday. She hates taking the train, and I think my son is afraid that his son (my grandson) might have a meltdown on a plane. He has autism, but I think he would do just fine flying out there. They did this last summer too. I hope the weather isn't TOO hot.
