Hi everyone!!!!
I am so excited....my favorite pitcher (the one that is my avatar) threw a no hitter yesterday and I got to watch it!!! It's exciting because not many pitchers throw a no hitter and the fact that that start could very much be his last as a Philly. He is most likely getting traded within the next few days if he does, I will need some handholding as I will be really sad
But it was an exciting moment for a season full of disappointments. He ended his career in Philly with something very few pitchers do. It also put the catcher in the history books as the catcher, Carlos Ruiz joins just one other catcher in MLB history to catch 4 no hitters.
Hope you all are doing well. I will stay on a little bit to see if anybody is posting tonight.
How exciting for him and his fans. Why is he being traded? Do they know which team is going to pick him up?
Glad that you got to see him in what may have been his last game as a Philly. If he is traded, I hope he goes to a team you like.

Good night, Luv. I'm logging off, too.
WDYTYA was pretty interesting with Ginnifer Goodwin. One of the more "bummer" episodes I've seen. And it didn't really go back very far in history - just the early 1900's. But it delved in to the person's life they were curious about. And certainly found out a lot.
Good night friends.

My son and grandson boarded an AMTRAK train for LA this evening, headed for Disneyland. My DIL and the teens (17 and 19) will fly out there on Monday. She hates taking the train, and I think my son is afraid that his son (my grandson) might have a meltdown on a plane. He has autism, but I think he would do just fine flying out there. They did this last summer too. I hope the weather isn't TOO hot.
Annie, I hope your grandson gets through the trip without any problems whatsoever. Hope they all have a wonderful time.
Thanks, Booky. They went last year, and he did fine. Also, they took the train to NYC during spring break last year. What a long trip; Austin to Chicago and finally to NY at Penn Station.
