Ok that will be it for me today...I am pooped, mentally and physically!!!! LOL
Hope you all have a wonderful restful night and I will be back in the morning!!!
Till tomorrow...
HUGS
Congratulations on the arrival of your new Granddaughter, CEK. I'm sure she will love her name - life as Fifi could have gotten a bit tricky at times. We didn't name our little guy for nearly 1 1/2 months. His nickname stuck too. But only within our family.

Hi just checking in.....well when they did her blood work this morning her creatinine (kidney function) levels had gone back up a bit.....not bad and not enough for them to hospitalize her for it but enough that they couldn't give her chemo today....so they sent us home she has to go back fri for blood work and chemo if her levels are good but for now instead of being in the hospital we are at home with 2 of my nieces spending the night gonna take a minute and try to catch up
Hi, April,
Sorry to hear that your daughter wasn't able to have her treatments but it must be some consolation that you all can be home together for a few more days.
(((Hugs))) to you both!

CONGRATULATIONS, CEK, ON YOUR NEW GRANDDAUGHTER! YEA!!
Enjoy every moment....and glad everything went well. Fifi is a nickname of endearment in our family. Our granddaughter Faith called herself that when she was small!

GREETINGS from Lake Tahoe--a beautiful place for summer and winter activities! We arrived yesterday around 5 p.m.--after 9 hrs. in the car (including 2 stops). Kids traveled very well, considering the length of time and close quarters.
Today we had a great day with our daughter, SIL, the 3 granddaughters and friends of theirs (also with 3 kids) that we all vacation with here and elsewhere now and then. SIL's friend from college football team and my hubby are going fishing tomorrow (SIL does NOT fish but he does eat it!! LOL) at daybreak. We took the kids to Echo Lake--high up a one-lane road above Tahoe--to swim and check out the fishing conditions (not that great). Going up was worse than coming down for me (I would rather drive than ride on mountain roads)!! LOL Then we took the kids to this trout "farm" (they actually stock their lakes) where in about an hour, two kids and two adults snagged 9 trout ranging in length from 13" to 19"!! Hubby won the "Most Fish Caught" (5). Our 8 year old granddaughter caught 2 and 10 year old daughter in the other family and her mom each caught the largest (16" and 19"). SIL's friend, who does all the cooking and bartending when we are with them, cooked up about 6 of the trout in the oven along with baked potatoes and brown rice (the girls made a wonderful salad). It was a fabulous meal!
I will try to take a few pics of the local area and post tomorrow nite.
Meanwhile, hope everyone is doing well!
Hugs.....

Good morning. The picture above is natural...bioluminescent plankton
Don't miss some late night posts ^^ above.
Perfectly cool, clear, dry, breezy here today!! Some storms went through last night and the high today will be just 69 ! But I am loving it. All windows open. May bake something. Do some work in the yard I've been putting off.
Hope you all have a very good day.
BTW, Val was up very EARLY in Ohio to go fishin... You'll see pictures later I'm sure.

Evening Everyone....I am sorry to be so late with the baby news but I was waiting till I got all the news...hubby is a bit slow with the phone txting (he doesn't have a smartphone)....
Gianna Kathlene was delivered at 6:09 pm she weighed 7.1oz and was 18 1/2 inches long. Mother and baby are doing fine. My daughters blood pressure is pretty good and she is feeling ok, she said it took a bit longer this time to deliver than last (last time was an emergancy delivery). Hubby and my mother in law didn't get to see the baby till my daughter got into a room from recovery so that is what took so long.
So that is the news for me today!!!! We are all happy and thankful things went well.
And thanks to you all for all the prayers and good thoughts...You all are wonderful...

Good morning ladies!! Hope everyone is having a beautiful morning!
April - hope you had a fun time with your daughter and nieces. Great company is such good medicine for the soul.
Hot and humid here in TN - been working with a landscaper to get some pretty flowers/trees/shrubs in. Although I'm not sure TN and I will be a great fit long-term, the growing conditions are delightful! Absolutely anything we stick in the ground flourishes! Been really fun to watch everything take off. My sweet hubby even got us a Colorado Blue Spruce just like the one we had in our front yard in CO. Nice to have a pretty reminder. It sure sticks out among all the oaks, maples, etc on our wooded lot! We actually ended up planting a variety of different evergreen-type trees. Will be nice to have some winter interest when all the leaves fall.
Cassidy and CEK - hope those grand babies are both doing well this morning!
Love and hugs to all ... sending wishes for a productive, stress-free day! 😊

Good Morning Everyone...
I will do a group...
for all the good wishes for my new grand-daugher. Talked to hubby this morning and he said she is a cutie with a head full of black hair. My daughter is fair skin with blonde hair and her hubby is dark skin and black hair, he is from Peru, So again the baby has dark hair and eyes....no more blonde babies for them!!! LOL
My daughter is doing well, blood pressure is still up but hopefully will start to go down now and not stay up like the first time...it took about 6 months on medication to get back to normal.

I hope she will be recovering quickly this time, CEK. Best wishes also to our niece with the chemo delay and Cassidy's daughter and grandson. I haven't commented on the story thread - English as a second language makes it a tad difficult sometimes. Like right now, I'm unsure what is meant and how to build on it. So I leave it to someone else.
Saying goodnight. The new day has just started then. Time to turn in.
