I appreciate the thanks but there is no need. I get a lot of enjoyment out of this room, reading about people's days and family and looking at the pictures. IMO leaving the ABC MB was the best thing we could have done!!!
I agree, HRM....I think leaving the board was the best and right thing to do!
I hope the others from the dwts/bachelor boards can find themselves a home like we have. What a shame.
They can always go to the IMDB boards....I still love those. Great for movie/tv spoilers and discussions. They have both a DWTS and bachelor/ette boards.

Carrie's no hit pitcher...
Ugh.....so sad.
We've traded Papelbon today....which is so frustrating. They got absolutely nothing for him. I'm afraid that is what is going to happen to Hamels.
Ugh....I think I should just stick to dancing with the stars. Losing a dancer doesn't hurt as much as losing a star pitcher.

TO THOSE OF YOU THAT POST ON THE BACHELOR/BACHELORETTE BOARDS. THIS WAS POSTED ON THE ABC SITE. NOT SURE HOW TRUE IT IS THOUGH I'VE NOTICED THERE HAVE ONLY BEEN 2 POSTS MADE ON THE DWTS SITE SINCE THE 25TH.
Dear XXXXXX,
I hope you get this message. I notice you are still posting on the Bachelorette board, and that you've said you've been logged on for days. That is the only reason you are able to post.
No one is able to sign in. Some of us have contacted Steve and even ABC; we've been told there will be no "resolution" before the airing of the finale tomorrow night. What that "resolution" is is anyone's guess. Of course, there is speculation that ABC is closing down the boards altogether. If that is the case, this seems like a very strange way of going about it.
In any case, I thought I'd contact you while you can still post, in case you want to inform other readers. Some are coming over here in the meantime.wow.....I wonder why they would shut down the boards???? .....it's almost like what happened to us with the Maks and Meryl thread over there......were they getting red-lined too?????
ABC has been trying for a few years to get rid of the boards. It was a about 3 or 4 years ago maybe more that they posted the boards were closing but it caused such a kerfuffle that they agreed to keep them open. At that time they lost a lot of good posters that just never bothered to come back. It appears that this could be a part of closing them. First they started by banning Canadians from being a part of the show now this. I don't know if they were red lining them or not as I have never gone into a bachelor or bachelorette board and there are only about 5 people that remain on the DWTS board. I noticed that there are a few here that chat on the bach boards so I thought I would advise them not to log out or they may not get back in. I can only lurk at the ABC board as I removed my registration when they stopped me from participating in the show. I lost all interest at that point. When I requested my registration be removed they wrote me and said I would not be able to register that email again. I responded with "why would I want to chat on a board that has blatantly told me I'm not welcome" They never responded again.
so are they getting rid of all the boards from all of their shows?????

Evening Everyone....I am sorry to be so late with the baby news but I was waiting till I got all the news...hubby is a bit slow with the phone txting (he doesn't have a smartphone)....
Gianna Kathlene was delivered at 6:09 pm she weighed 7.1oz and was 18 1/2 inches long. Mother and baby are doing fine. My daughters blood pressure is pretty good and she is feeling ok, she said it took a bit longer this time to deliver than last (last time was an emergancy delivery). Hubby and my mother in law didn't get to see the baby till my daughter got into a room from recovery so that is what took so long.
So that is the news for me today!!!! We are all happy and thankful things went well.
And thanks to you all for all the prayers and good thoughts...You all are wonderful...
OH WOW.....beautiful name CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

GREETINGS from Lake Tahoe--a beautiful place for summer and winter activities! We arrived yesterday around 5 p.m.--after 9 hrs. in the car (including 2 stops). Kids traveled very well, considering the length of time and close quarters.
Today we had a great day with our daughter, SIL, the 3 granddaughters and friends of theirs (also with 3 kids) that we all vacation with here and elsewhere now and then. SIL's friend from college football team and my hubby are going fishing tomorrow (SIL does NOT fish but he does eat it!! LOL) at daybreak. We took the kids to Echo Lake--high up a one-lane road above Tahoe--to swim and check out the fishing conditions (not that great). Going up was worse than coming down for me (I would rather drive than ride on mountain roads)!! LOL Then we took the kids to this trout "farm" (they actually stock their lakes) where in about an hour, two kids and two adults snagged 9 trout ranging in length from 13" to 19"!! Hubby won the "Most Fish Caught" (5). Our 8 year old granddaughter caught 2 and 10 year old daughter in the other family and her mom each caught the largest (16" and 19"). SIL's friend, who does all the cooking and bartending when we are with them, cooked up about 6 of the trout in the oven along with baked potatoes and brown rice (the girls made a wonderful salad). It was a fabulous meal!
I will try to take a few pics of the local area and post tomorrow nite.
Meanwhile, hope everyone is doing well!
Hugs.....
so glad you arrived safely and are having some good fun family time

Good morning ladies!! Hope everyone is having a beautiful morning!
April - hope you had a fun time with your daughter and nieces. Great company is such good medicine for the soul.
Hot and humid here in TN - been working with a landscaper to get some pretty flowers/trees/shrubs in. Although I'm not sure TN and I will be a great fit long-term, the growing conditions are delightful! Absolutely anything we stick in the ground flourishes! Been really fun to watch everything take off. My sweet hubby even got us a Colorado Blue Spruce just like the one we had in our front yard in CO. Nice to have a pretty reminder. It sure sticks out among all the oaks, maples, etc on our wooded lot! We actually ended up planting a variety of different evergreen-type trees. Will be nice to have some winter interest when all the leaves fall.
Cassidy and CEK - hope those grand babies are both doing well this morning!
Love and hugs to all ... sending wishes for a productive, stress-free day! 😊
