Good evening, ladies!
CEK, you sweetie ... thinking about everyone else when it's almost DISNEY time!!! 😊 Yes, we are all moved in. Finally got sod put in yesterday and started putting together the kids' new trampoline - as promised!! They start school Monday (boo!!!) so I'm guessing I'm gonna be a little sad for a few days - my baby will be in full-day kindergarten this year ... waaahhhh!!! I'm starting a new job the week after - my first outside the home in nearly 13 years. I am going to assistant teaching at the preschool where our youngest attended last year. I'm going to be working in the two-year-old room two days a week! His teacher from last year called and asked me to apply ... I was quite flattered and like her a lot so decided to give it a whirl. More babies to cuddle while mine are at school! 😊
Congratulations on the new job, Tennessee! And how nice being asked! I would probably feel a tad anxious after a big gap. To know they wanted you, must make it a lot easier.

Hi guys :-) sorry it took so long for me to get here with an update.......things have been crazy busy here.....my daughter had her treatment which went well and took a few days in the hospital......then she started having a lot of nausea which took us back to the doc.....she had to get meds for the nausea and iv fluids to prevent dehydration.....she is doing well now.......I have also been busy helping my son get ready for his next semester of collage and meeting with teachers, doctors etc.....to come up with a plan for my daughter for the coming school year.....it will be her senior year and she REALLY wants to do it on campus so we are trying to come up with a way to make that possible for her....she is also VERY determined she wants to be in band again for her senior year so we are working on that too....so that she can maybe be a part of it in some way.......oh and I have 2 nieces due next week....LoL.....one is due on the 11th and one due on the 12th.....lol....so its a race to see who will be born first for us :-) .......So how are things going for you all?????? Did I miss anything??????? I am hoping to be able to be on later today to catch up on everything........((((((hugs))))))
Glad to hear that our niece could continue with the treatment, even with a few speed humps.
Hope all will be fine with the new additions to your extended family, April and you can hold the babies soon? Are they are local? It was about time that you set foot into a hospital on a joyful occasion.

My favorite pope of all time.
It does sound refreshing.... we aren't Catholics, but both my eldest and I went to Catholic colleges.

Got to go get hubby up and give the kitty her insulin...
I will pop back in later before I head to bed.....Who will take care of the animals while you are gone?
We are boarding them at their vets office. Because of all their health issues and on dog being scared to death (didin't eat for 3 days the last time we borded him) they know them and we feel comfortable with them there in case something should happen.
I get really emotional when we have to leave them. They keep me from going a lot of places that I would. But I love them probabaly to much!!!!
It sounds like a good decision, CEK. You can rest assured that they are safe. I left our two little dogs with a couple of friends last time we went overseas (7 weeks). They had to move house and one managed to get out on the road and got run over. It was horrible for my then 9 year old to return from holidays and find his little friend gone.

Our quick tour of National Parks is taking us to Glacier. I've been there - maybe 30 years ago. It seems to me we took a driving tour with a casette tape guiding us through points of interest. casette tape
LOL, View....today at the boutique I saw a box with "Shogun" printed on it. That was one of my favorite books and movies!! It was a bit confusing so I opened it. Two VHS tapes!!! Another thing that no one has equipment for playing them on!!! LOL However, we have a VHS player that works but isn't hooked up!!! They wanted $50.00 for the tapes, so decided to pass. I think I'd read the book again first.
What am I missing??? Most of the op shops here don't even take donations of VHS tapes anymore. We kept a player as we have family vids still. Better get them on digital media soon..... another thing on the to-do-list.

Most posts ever in one evening for me!!! Think, I had to because I could.... Had spend most of the weekend to save data of my computer without a blanket back-up (virus) and then recover it to out-of-box condition. Can't believe how smooth it runs now!! It shall teach me a lesson to never let my anti-virus expire again.
I'll have my own 1 year anniversary soon. Luv, can I order a cake, or two?
