I always love to find a good bargain when I'm out shopping. I'm trying to get my Christmas shopping done early too so I can just concentrate on spending quality time with my family. I'm half way done!Oh wow booky! And I thought I'm doing well by having a couple of things already.
Hi gabriele! Haha...the Internet is my friend where Christmas shopping is concerned. I never manage to find what I'm looking for when I'm out shopping.
Hey, you are making me look like a slacker! I don't start shopping until the month has an "R" in it at least!

Had a great time with 4 friends shopping at a boutique called Sugar Plum (it pops up about every 2 or 3 months at a local mall in the basement for a few days), then lunching at a really good Chinese buffet. Always great to get out with the gals!!!
I started my Christmas shopping at Sugar Plum!! They have great deals on kids' books and odds and ends like that. Deal of the Day was a full size quilt top--pink and white--that just needs finishing. I think I will dress it up with some embroidery in the white squares. First I have to use some special "stuff" to whiten it up and remove some stains. It is in good shape, tho. Best part: only 20 bucks!! I couldn't have bought the fabric for that!!

I find that if I start too early I end up spending more $$--and losing stuff!!! LOL But we will have to take 2 trips up north in the fall and then have our English friends here for 2 mos. from Nov. to January, so I probably need to get moving on it!!! LOL I make alot of stuff, tho, so it is easy to get nuts!!! LOL

hi guys I just found this and thought you guys would like it.....I know it's they are not together but I like it just for the artistry
THanks, April! Reminds me that I need to get busy finishing the Beauty and the Beast quilt for my little niece (now 8) who had a role in it in January. She's going to get the quilt for Christmas--hopefully THIS year!!! It's ready to be quilted so hopefully won't be late!! There are still a few months left!!! LOL
I love the music too. Such a catchy tune and the words are great!! I found myself thinking of MnM as we watched the show...when we still thought they might have something going on!!! LOL "....story old as time, song as old as rhyme, Beauty and the Beast."
