Did anyone read the article about Rumer thanking Val for their partnership last season? Here is Val's response:
“It isn’t the end, just the beginning. Next season will begin however, and I will embark on yet another journey.. with a new partner.. but you my friend have been an absolute pleasure. Seeing you grow and become a proud young woman with your head held high and your star shining brighter than ever has been one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. We’ll dance again, I promise.”
Very nice of Val, I would say.

That partnership was one of the best the show has ever had. Those two were awesome together!

I can't stop watching this video of Meryl. She's breathtaking in it and I love that piece of music she used. I need to find out what it was.

She is so talented. But she isn't conceited about it when she very well could be.

Anyone read abou the possibility of Len and Bruno not coming back? Len wouldn't surprise me, but Bruno too? Who would take his place? Maks? I don't think so for many reasons. Also, they don't need 4 judges, what was wrong with three?

I wish they would go back to three judges! I wonder if Bruno isn't coming back because of his judging stint with the Australian version?

This is from yesterday but don't think anyone posted it. I just thought it was so nice--and kind've a paying it forward sort of thing. Had to do it as two parts but it was originally a single tweet.
It is so representative of who Meryl is. If everyone were as kind and thoughtful---and attentive to detail---the world would be a better place.
(OH! It came out ok!!! LOL I surprise myself again!! LOL)

Must be cooler wherever they are than here in Northern VA...it is HOT and Humid...typical August weather for our area. As much as I love fires, I couldn't even think about one right now. WHEW!!
Nor here in Austin, either!! We had COOL weather here today -- didn't get out of the 90s. LOL
We had 95 here yesterday (8 miles from the ocean) and 106 where gunner is. Today it "cooled off" to only 90 or 92. Supposed to get to upper 80s by Tuesday. That is bearable! We don't run A/C until it gets above 90 outside because below that usually it's cool enough in the house not to need to run it. Humidity is very low when we get into the high 90s generally.
Hot and humid has been the order of the day here in South Texas. I'll be so glad when the Fall season gets here!

I think Meryl's calling is to be a diplomat.
