Nor here in Austin, either!! We had COOL weather here today -- didn't get out of the 90s. LOL
We had 95 here yesterday (8 miles from the ocean) and 106 where gunner is. Today it "cooled off" to only 90 or 92. Supposed to get to upper 80s by Tuesday. That is bearable! We don't run A/C until it gets above 90 outside because below that usually it's cool enough in the house not to need to run it. Humidity is very low when we get into the high 90s generally.
Hot and humid has been the order of the day here in South Texas. I'll be so glad when the Fall season gets here!
We continue to have hot temps through September usually and often have them in October too. They peak later in the day and the nites cool off, but sometimes we 90s or 100s on occasion. I don't miss humidity!!!

This is from yesterday but don't think anyone posted it. I just thought it was so nice--and kind've a paying it forward sort of thing. Had to do it as two parts but it was originally a single tweet.
It is so representative of who Meryl is. If everyone were as kind and thoughtful---and attentive to detail---the world would be a better place.I think Meryl's calling is to be a diplomat.
She'd be wonderful as a diplomat. She could charm the pants off anyone.

She is a diplomat everywhere she goes!! But I agree....she is tough but kind and generous and has plenty of experience already on the international stage, if you will, with all the skating trips and working with other cultures. I guess her cultural anthro major is pretty much a natural for her.
Michelle Kwan has a job in DC doing something diplomatic internationally (not a full diplomat but some sort of related thing). She has a similar persona to Meryl's
. She's married now but don't think she is a mom.

It would be lovely to be in the upper 70s about now! It will be about that when we go north in a couple weeks for the adoption hearing.

I'm hoping she and Charlie get some kind of gig, like maybe ice dance analyists, for the Winter Olympics. That would be cool.
