First day of school today for 2 out of my three. My 7th grader went off with no trouble. Then my oldest came with me to bring "the baby" to kindergarten. I'll normally drop her off in the drop-off line, but today we brought her in. She did well. One of her friends from pre-school started to cry, but my daughter didn't see that. My oldest goes back tomorrow. Today is freshman orientation, and she's a big sophomore, now.

Wow, you have kids in every "area"...elementary, middle, and high school.  Pretty soon your oldest will be driving.   Glad your 7th grader is off with no problems.  Is she the one that was bullied last year?  I hope that this year goes better.  Happy that your little one is doing well.  Kindergarten can be scary sometimes.  How is you new job?  Hope you are having fun.

Yup. It's never dull around here. December 1 my oldest can start driving with a licensed adult. So far so good for my 7th grader. Yes, she's the one who gets bullied. She's trying to keep expectations low and understand that there are nice kids out there. I'm not working at the moment--kindergarten is just a half day here. I might try to find something part time, though. I'm also trying to start a business at home, so we'll see how that goes.

Hi guys  it's another rainy afternoon in Fl ......been a good day here though and tomorrow night as long as it doesn't get rained out my daughter will be playing with her band at the football game.....she will only be doing stand tunes not marching but I am so happy to see her be able to do this

gonna go catch up really quickly

So happy to see that your daughter is on the move!  She is still in my prayers.

Yay! So glad that she will get to play. That is awesome. My daughter's school doesn't have a big enough band to have a marching band. My niece did it in high school, though, and got to be in the parade for President Obama's inaugaration.

Well friends, I must go for the night...have a few things to do before bed that didn't get done because I was running around all day and evening.

Wishing you a peaceful night and sweet dreams

Till tomorrow....

Re: 1st Anniversary for the Ladies Room! (they said it'd never last. Hah!!

Hey, Sisters....

Been too busy in RL--preparing for the trip north to the adoption festivities.  Decided to make matching dresses for the 3 girls, so that is ongoing--and also making a small gift for the bio grandma who cared for the baby during her first year of life.  I'm sure she'll be there.  Just want to welcome her to our family.

Haven't even been able to lurk...and it's been very hot and sultry the past couple of days.  Supposed to cool into the upper 70's by Saturday which will be prefect!!

Gonna catch up.

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer.
