In upstate NY, we called it "pop". In Northern VA, it is called soda altough I still call it pop.

He's been taking drum lessons from the School of Rock since he was 5. He's now 11 so that is a long time. This is the first time they have travelled somewhere to play.
Can't wait to hear how the whole naked bike race thing came about. Should be interesting.

In Texas we usually say "Coke" and some who are really southern call it "Co-cola". But a lot of people also want "Dr. Pepper" and don't call it "Coke".

Here in South Texas, we say Coke or soda. You never hear anyone say pop.

Out here in the west it is usually just "soda".
