Ok this brings to mind a fun question.......LOL....I see Meryl called it "soda pop".....down here we refer to all carbonated soft drinks as "coke" no matter what flavor or brand it is.....example.....at a party someone will ask you "do you want a coke?" and when you say yes they will say "what kind"......LOL.....ok so here is the question this brings to mind.....what are soft drinks called in the areas you all live in????????
In upstate NY, we called it "pop". In Northern VA, it is called soda altough I still call it pop.
Funny that not that many people call it "pop" anymore--at least it doesn't seem so.

So Anthony played with the Shool of Rock in Camden NJ today on a real battleship. While they were so closeby, they decided to see some sights in Philly. Well, they tried to see some sights, no tickets available for Indepedence Hall but guess what? They somehow got front row seats to the naked bike races and both kids claim they are scarred for life and so is mom. Will have to hear all about this at our next dinner. Yikes.
Cute kids; cute photo! That will be a story you will need to share, EC!!!! Can't wait to hear about it!!! LOL

I'm prejudiced of course but they are typical kids. I think that sometimes their mother would trade them in but I get it, they can test your patience! They're awesome kids Eastcoast and how cool that he got to play with the School of Rock
He's been taking drum lessons from the School of Rock since he was 5. He's now 11 so that is a long time. This is the first time they have travelled somewhere to play.
Can't wait to hear how the whole naked bike race thing came about. Should be interesting.
He is a talented kid....those are such memorable things for kids to do. I know you are proud!!

So after seeing the Liberty Bell and not being able to get into Independence Hall, they decided to walk to Betsy Ross' house. On the way there is where they encountered the naked bike riders. They couldn't help but see them before their parents turned them away from this sight. The continued walking and of course some stragglers (nude of course) came by so they got another look. My daughter asked someone what this was about and she was told that it was an annual event. Here is my question, what happened to the indecent exposure laws?
