So Anthony played with the Shool of Rock in Camden NJ today on a real battleship. While they were so closeby, they decided to see some sights in Philly. Well, they tried to see some sights, no tickets available for Indepedence Hall but guess what? They somehow got front row seats to the naked bike races and both kids claim they are scarred for life and so is mom. Will have to hear all about this at our next dinner. Yikes.
Cute kids; cute photo! That will be a story you will need to share, EC!!!! Can't wait to hear about it!!! LOLSo after seeing the Liberty Bell and not being able to get into Independence Hall, they decided to walk to Betsy Ross' house. On the way there is where they encountered the naked bike riders. They couldn't help but see them before their parents turned them away from this sight. The continued walking and of course some stragglers (nude of course) came by so they got another look. My daughter asked someone what this was about and she was told that it was an annual event. Here is my question, what happened to the indecent exposure laws?
Wow, what a story! Our state dept. just signed a bill outlawing walking around naked. Yes, there was a man in town that did, not where I live, but still it makes you wonder what ever happenend to the indecent exposure laws or
at least question "humanity". LOL

I couldn't believe that "nude bike rides" was a thing. But apparently it is something that started in London and is now "celebrated" many places world wide. Supposedly at secret locations.
So weren't eastcoast's grands and daughter "lucky" to have stumbled upon it!!
Thought you'd all get a kick out of news item #3, so am posting it here:

Reminds me of Queen's "Fat bottom girls".. The original cover had them naked apparently, but was then covered up. I saw a documentary on the video shoot to the song. Queen borrowed the bikes, but had to buy new saddles for them on return. Now sisters, I'm sure we all needed to know that!!! *lol*
