Just stopping in to say "Hello!" What a line-up!
I hope GB is Anna's karma for the snarky things she said about Maks during S18.
I'm predicting Paula will be the first one out. I heard she was booed in NYC, and I don't know what she can do in one week to make herself palatable to the public again. Of course, there's the France train hero guy. Does that mean there's hope for me getting on the show? I'm pretty much known by more people than him, people who'll even remember me in 6 months. I could be the token old person that Tony gets to dance with. I promise to be better than most of his previous partners, funnier than the female athletes, and as nice as anyone on the show, except maybe Meryl and Tom B.
I told my dance teacher yesterday that every time I come to a lesson now, I panic. He looked at me funny, and I explained that I now have a limited time (21 lessons) to master as much as I can before Sway. I can't tell you how much the idea of dancing in front of Maks, Val, or Tony in a room full of 20 or 30-somethings is stressing me out. I know it'll be all right, and it certainly is motivating, but I will definitely be a bundle of nerves that first day.
I have been swimming 3 days a week. I finally got a great pair of earplugs that are fantastic, comfortable and they don't come out! I now do 20 laps in 40 min. My goal is to get to 30 laps in 40 min. by mid-November. I think it's a doable goal.
Hope everyone is well. I can imagine you are exhausted, Cassidy!

So wonderful to hear from you tango. Wonderful.
I think that once Sway in Miami is over you should....what, go out for the Senior Olympics or something. All that successful training, it seems to me you will need a new goal to strive for. Of course, I bet your figure and weight are benefitting from all of this. I hope you took a "before" picture about a year ago.
That's it...you should be the Dance With Me Studios advertising phenomenon. In all their ads. "This is what Ballroom can do for you!"
Hope you'll watch and comment with us in the weeks to come.

I logged on to show you a recent tweet from Meryl. She will be modeling for that woman whose motto is: Role models, not Runway models.
Here's the article:

Hi! I wanted to jump on for a minute before bed. I'm in a bad mood and wanted to visit my sisters. So thank you, April, for your jokes. And I'm answering role call. Tango, it's good to hear from you. I hope you join us on Monday nights. And View, thanks for the article about Meryl.

Thanks. Not yet. I'm kind of wallowing, but this too shall pass.
