Good early morning, sisters.  It is so nice that you guys got together last night.  I miss the "old days" too...an experience not likely to be repeated.

I am sorry to share some very sad news.  My son-in-laws best friend passed away 3 days ago, suddenly and tragically.  They were as close as most brothers and he (and we) are devastated.  I first met this boy when he was 13 and took my daughter to the 8th grade dance.  They were good friends all through school and she wound up marrying his best friend.  He moved to Florida a few years back, but they remained close and spoke constantly.

The last time we saw him was when he flew in for Tristan's birth.  He was the first person my son-in-law embraced when he came out of the delivery room.  They shared a bond closer than most brothers I know.  He was supposed to be Tristan's godfather.  I am filled with a sadness that is indescribable.

Please pray for this beautiful man gone way too soon.  He was smart, sensitive, kind, and movie star handsome.  He was currently pursuing his masters degree in English Literature.  A poet with the most beautiful soul.

I will talk to you soon.  It may be a while before I feel like partying.....please understand.  I love you all.

So sorry, Cassidy.  I always feel a special kind of sadness when someone isn't allowed to grow old.

Re: Dishin' With The Sisters: Lucky 21

50 pages since yesterday!!!  That's a new record.   Then I glanced at the date, 11th September here and braced myself for long and somber reflections and to be left in a depressed state an hour and 50 pages later.  Quelle surprise!!!    Sorry to not have joined in the fun, but I am a terrible morning person.  So I would very rarely log on before taking my little guy to school.  I spend (wasted...) time at the school this morning, waiting for his speechtherapist who did not show.  Then it was too late to come home and so I did a bit of shopping before taking my guy home at lunch.  He is still only doing mornings at school.    I caught up with all your posts though.
East, I have a KIA too.  And yes, I can relate to the car buying stress.  I mostly go for a second hand car, so you always wonder what hidden faults you're getting and to what extend someone is trying to trick you.  But so far, I've had a good run.  Touch wood.

I will be spending a moment in quiet reflection with the sad memory of this day that is burnt in your nation's conscience.  I remember seeing the images and not believing my eyes.  I rang a friend and we both found it utterly incomprehensible.  It just wasn't sinking in until I had seen it over and over as the day progressed.

Because of gabriele's musing...will we be free of all romantic rumors this Season?   She said all are either in commited relationships / married so if there would be something...she guessed it would have to be Team Espinoff !!!

But I'm going to take it a step further for our chart. Not just who do we think might have a Faux-mance, a Show-mance, or a true, lasting Ro-mance....because we don't want to break up (even just on the thread, right?) any of these
new marriages.   Such as Lindsay, Nick, or 3 years ago Andy....or the long-term relationships we know of.

So the column became simply

Where sparks between them could fly....better be careful.

Such as when you see pap pics like this:

and they just look cute together.

I can't recognise these two huggers....      ???
Edit:
It's Allison and Andy, right?  Allison is a mormon according to her Wiki;  not expecting a "....mance" of any kind from her.

We are near Adelaide, South Australia, april.  The time zone is Australian Central Standard Time (ACST).  That would currently be 13 1/2 hours ahead of New York, until we get daylight-saving in October.  .

Here is a cancer fact that I least expected to come across:
"Multivitamins increase the risk of cancer and heart disease, according to recent studies"
source:  http://www.factslides.com/s-Cancer

Will have to have a look into the underlying research when I'm less tired.  Everybody in our family takes vitamin supplements......

and I find many sisters have already posted this Friday morning.
