According to Kym Johnson, the “Icon” dances next week is someone who has inspired the celebrity. I guess that means someone famous?? Who the hell knows? All I know is that I’m sick to death of these lame themes. They lead to excessive use of the troupe, props, massive sets…and the dreaded smoke monster. Can’t we just have DANCING??
Then there’s the dance off. Rob Wade has about worn out his welcome here. The three dances to choose from are dances that Nick has already done – I’m sure that’s just a coincidence. Heh. No, he didn’t say what they were, just that he had already done them.
Anyway, Alexa and Andy didn’t know as of Monday night what they were dancing. Mark said the music he wanted didn’t clear so they’re under the gun. Or they were. Surely they know by now.

=14pxCongratulations to Nick Carter and his wife Lauren Kitt. They are expecting their first child. Below is more from US Weekly=14px…
Will it be a Backstreet Boy…or Girl? Nick Carter is expecting his first child with his wife, Lauren Kitt, a source confirms exclusively to Us Weekly. The fitness pro, whom Carter married in April 2014, is about four months pregnant.
“They are so happy and overjoyed,” the insider tells Us of the parents-to-be, who documented their romance on the VH1 reality show I Heart Nick Carter. “They’ve been trying and waiting for such a long time.”
The Backstreet Boys heartthrob, 36, proposed to Kitt, 32, with a 7-carat diamond ring back in February 2013. They said “I do” in a romantic ceremony in Santa Barbara, Calif., last year, with his bandmates AJ McLean, Howie Dorough, and Brian Littrell in attendance.
An eyewitness told Us at the time, “They shared the longest wedding kiss I’ve ever seen. A full minute later they were still kissing. They seem crazy in love and thrilled to be married. You could feel the love bursting out of them.”

We are watching the Series, Luv.
Rooting for KC because they are the American League - more representative of where we live. But also because the company my husband worked for for many years is headquartered in KC. Many of the people he knows through that job will be avidly watching.
I admit we fell asleep before the loooooonnnnnnggggg game was over last night, though.
