Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

Hi CEK and View! Just catching up. I luckily don't have to make any costumes, but I may have to do some repairs. My oldest is making her own costume. Not only is she sewing her costume, but she is engineering her own light saber. I'm not sure if the electronics will come together in time--it's a pretty ambitious project.

I use to make all my childrens costumes...My daughter in law made my grandchildrens this year...Kaleb is Darth Mall, Kenzie is Darth Vader and Kaylee is a Ewok...

Awesome. My oldest is a padawan (a Jedi-in-training). My middle is Darth Vader, and they talked their little sister into being Yoda.

I am sure there will be a lot of "Star War" characters out this year....
When we were in Disney World Kaleb and Kenzie did the Padawan Training at Hollywood Studios...they both got to fight Darth Mall...

Good Morning Everyone...Hope this finds you all well...

We had a sad event in our commnuity last night a 3 year old little boy went missing from his home about 6:15 and he was a non-verbal Autisic child.  I went over to my sons so he and my DIL could go out and help look for him...there were hundreds of people from our commnuity out in seach for him....however the story had a heartbreaking end....I will post a link to the story.

I want to get the word out to anyone that has children or other family members with autism, dementia, alzheimers or another condition that causes them to wander...there is program called "Project Lifesaver" and one of the officers my hubby worked with on the police department started it, and my hubby has been a voluenteer there since its beginning.  They provide tracking bracelets that enable the police or sheriffs office to help locate those that wander and I believe it has a 99% locate rate.  (I will have to check on that number)...It is a wonderful thing and police and sheriff offices across the country, Canada and in some countries in Europe are able to assist you with this program....I even think they have a new program that allows you to monitor the individual yourself without going throught the police or law enforcement agency.

Here is the link to Project Lifesaver International....

I will now see what is going on in our other world....

These tragic stories involving children always break my heart.  I hope the parents find comfort in knowing their precious little boy is in heaven now.  God bless all the good people who went out to search for this little boy, and kudos to the officer who started the Operation Lifesaver Project.

Want to say Good Morning - before I get busy with RL again today.

It appears to be National Cat Day!   And if you work in Philadelphia,
