I hear Victor has been doing well. Today was the nation's biggest horse race, the Melbourne Cup and for the first time in its history, a female jockey (and her horse of course) won it. What I loved the most is that the strapper is her brother with Down Syndrome. What a story!

I am going to make a quick check of the news...going to a doctors appointment with hubby and then I have a dentist appointment this afternoon...My daughter stayed home from teaching today because she can't talk....
