Good evening to anyone out there! Hope you all are doing well.
APRIL: Are you and our niece still in the hospital? Praying that she is improving and that you two will be home soon. Please let us know when you can.
GUNNER and I spent the day "quilt shopping" at a couple of our favorite places that carry wool for appliqué We both need to stay out of those places, but what the heck?!!!! LOL It's the best addiction I've ever had!!! LOL We had a little "trunk show" for each other of our current and recently completed stuff...went to Islands for lunch (YUM!)....and we each caught decent traffic in both directions, going there and coming home. She lives about an hour northeast of where we met (about half way to SD); I live about an hour northwest. We had a great day together....always enjoy the laughs and good company! So glad that the sisterhood brought us together.

THANKS AGAIN! Got excited and replied to the wrong post!!! HAHA!!!![]()
VIEW: Here is an excerpt from an email from my sister after I sent her this link. Kind've interesting personal insight.
"I am aware of all the doings concerning my life-long friend Peter Altmann. We communicate on a pretty regular basis and he sends me pics and lets me know about the articles. He likes to invite me to everything even though he knows I've got no way to go! ha, ha He's happily married to a wonderful woman and lives in a beautiful house on Puget Sound in Tacoma. His Mom paid for a custom built cabin cruiser for him after she won her lawsuit. She was truly an awesome powerhouse and I was happy I got to meet her and stay in her house. His Mom took me to see Cats in L.A. when I was there. Pretty neat. Anyway I read the book and saw the movie, and even if the movie changed a few things, as they do, it was still true to the spirit of his Mom's efforts for some justice. Pretty cool!"
Now I will need to watch the movie!! LOL

Need to get something to eat and do some work! Many projects and alot of housework to do before our friends arrive from England on the 16th.
Hope that your pork in green salsa is good enough to post on the other thread, View....will be waiting for the review! While Mexican pork is normally served with a green chile sauce or salsa, in NM it...and other meats...are often served "Christmas", which means with half red and half green sauce next to each other over the dish! I love the red sauce they make in NM....it is very different from anything you can buy in a can. Hatch (green) chiles come from Hatch, NM--harvested in the fall and roasted so they can be canned or frozen for later use. The smell of the chiles roasting is awesome! I do miss New Mexico....its food is literally known as New Mexico food rather than Mexican food!
