I just looked it up...it was the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. Oh, well....my history is a bit rusty!!! LOL
Son's college roommate (one of our "other" sons) has identical twins who were born on 11/12/13!!! They are 2 years old today...live in the Detroit area. The twins were born here (roommate and wife are from Korea) so they are citizens...but they also have a 6 year old who was born in Korea before they were able to immigrate legally. So glad they are here. We see the roommate occasionally when he comes to CA for work...and the 3 of them made a surprise visit to our 40th anniversary celebration a few years ago!
You're right, Jet, it is in the morning. I only know that as they observe a minute of silence in the schools here as well. It marked the only occasion during his school years that my eldest got into trouble. There was a note coming home that he and his friend were seen to giggle during the minute of silence, being about 7 or so years old, together with a long explanation of the significance of the day..... Lest we forget in this family!!!

Thanks April...I am watching it because I don't want a repeat of last year with pneumonia...I just wish my daughter could stop coughing...she has had this for going on two weeks now and been the doctor twice but the cough won't go away....Has she had a chest x-ray?
Not yet Luv but is she continues to cough she will go and get one...I will pull "mama" on her, even though she is grown and married.....
Few years back I had this violent cough which went on for many weeks. When I finally went to the doctor, they first thought I had asthma, but the lung test returned a 'lung-age' about 10 years 'younger' than my chronological age. A blood test returned very high antibodies against whooping cough. The doctor advised that it takes about a year for the body to get over whooping cough. I keep my fingers crossed that she hasn't caught it!!!

Couple of things that I've filed away throughout the day to share with you.
I don't know what it is about this Season, but I've pretty much forgotten all about some of the early contestants. If someone asked me to name all that started out, I could not.

Listened to an interview of Maks promoting SWAY Miami, where he says it may be the last one. Whether that is true or a nudge to get people to purchase tickets...I don't know.
Jetmama, I admire your energy level and commitment to your friends and family. Your grandkids will remember these days. But come relax with us now and then when things get too stressful.
