I have remembered the PERFECT crochet project for you, Luv...and any other sisters
who know how to make a chain, but nothing more elaborate!!
Today I wore a "necklace" to church. It is one of 6 that I have. They are perfect for me because wearing it is something between wearing a scarf around your neck and a necklace. I am allergic to some metals, including the clasp and chains on most necklaces, but this has no metal. It can be made in almost any color to match your wardrobe.
Two years ago I took a day class in AZ to learn how, and later made quite a few of them...for myself and others.
The months before I met you gals my husband had surgery and quite a few weeks of recovery. This was a neat portable "hand work" to have with me in the hospital or motel.
View this is so funny that you post this. Thanksgiving night my daughter and her hubby wanted to ride out because everyone was gone and they were board so the got me to go to Michael's Arts and Crafts with them...Well my daughter got a "Learn how to knit kit" and my SIL got a "knitting loom"...Well he actually made a hat that night. My daughter is having a hard time with the knitting, I think it has to do with her ADD...but she is still trying. I can't really help her with knitting because I only learned a little crochet from my grandmother, and I was actually thinking about getting the things I need to start learning more than I do....
We all have so much in common it is really "scary" at times...in a good way!!!!

Well, it's no wonder my twitter timeline is kind of...quiet. I have stopped following most of the celebs from Season 21.
I did buy the boardgame Wits and Wagers, CEK. It looks like lots of fun - and for players over 8 yrs old... perfect. Thanks.
I'll check in later tonight.
Hope you and the family like it...we have enjoyed it...
