I know what I am going to make for our Treasure Trove of actual prizes for next Season's Picks.
I am working on one of these right now - for a Christmas gift. I think I will make another dish towel to contribute. It may be slightly out of season for Season 22 in late March, but...who cares?
They look great! You'd sew on the zig-zag trim, I suppose. Is the motif a iron on transfer or do you have to know how to embroider?

I love this, gabriele! Gave me a little shiver of delight as I scrolled down. Some cute ideas here.
My late mil impressed me with her ability and willingness to continue to invite family to her home and fix a meal...even as those meals and her home / townhouse / apartment / assisted living accommodation became simpler and smaller. Always had a good attitude, a smile.

Thanks.
Last winter I made the candy cane. The granddaughter used fabric markers to color in certain elements and then I embroidered around and cross stitched. It looked great! It was a gift to my s-i-l. I hope to make one or two for myself later this winter.
I ordered the transfers (not iron on...hold up to the window or use a lightbox and trace. Or fabric carbon paper I guess you could use.)
But I wondered why I had purchased them (when they were not even the iron-on type) - when so many images are available on line.
Look at this, for example...
