It's National Cookie Day ! 
Ready for another little Post Flood miracle?
As my husband continues to bring me boxes now and then to look through, (From selling the 5th Wheel that we used when we traveled for his job) this last one was some stuff from the kitchen.
I had a fully stocked and convenient kitchen area - and often was with him for a few months at a time. So I (apparently) made copies of many or our favorite recipes 
to have with me in the camper.
And today I have found a booklet of many photocopied pages from the Ladies Home Journal December issue (1983 ! we had only been married 2 years. No wonder I was still cooking up a storm)
It includes one of our favorites. They are simply what you might think of as Mexican Wedding Cakes or Russian Tea Cakes...we called them Snowballs at home when I was young. EXCEPT they are rolled in very finely crushed candy canes mixed with the powdered sugar.
I will post the recipe on the other thread.
