Ok this just happened. They were auctioning off dance lessons with Tony ($3000), Maks & Val (I think both went for $7000). Rumer came up and volunteered herself to just hang out ($10000). Meryl came up & volunteered a skate lesson and Rumer was the auctioneer. I think it went for $3500. I started taping when Meryl went up there.

It looks like the tumblrs were right about the disappointing ticket sales.  One person said the night she was there the balcony section was almost empty while the floor section was about 60% full.  Some were also disappointed there was no new dance from M&M as had been promised by Alex.

Hi! So I went to opening night of SWAY last night and wanted to send you some thoughts/highlights.

Tony’s section was beautiful, I actually really enjoyed it but I could tell the crowd had a hard time getting into it, and  I’m sure its because us Miami people aren’t used to anything slow lol. Regardless, the dances were great and Meryl did an  amazing job! I also really loved her costume. A standout number for me during this section was the Charleston and the one Meryl did with David. Next came Val’s section and wow wow wow that really got people hyped up. His section is so high energy! And just the way Val performs in general makes you want to jump out of your seat. So so good. I was surprised to see Rumer have so many dances in his section, but she killed every single dance. Then it was Maks’ turn, and it was also amazing. There’s a samba number in there that is SO good, definitely a standout for me. Now Peta, my goodness, that woman is in a league of her own!! I was surprised to see her wearing Rumer’s foxtrot dress for the Seria Facil number with Maks but she looked beautiful in it. Also loved seeing her and Maks perform, they’re so cute with each other when they dance. TV really doesn’t do these people justice, seeing them dance live is such an incredible experience. The whole show was amazing I just wish the crowd would have been more lively lol. I’m going to the last show on Sunday so I hope there’s more energy from the audience. After the show my friends and I tried to get pictures but the only people that we saw leave were Meryl and Rumer and they both kindly said no, which was whatever I didn’t really mind. But Maks, Tony, Val, and Peta were nowhere to be seen I think they might’ve left through a different door which sucks but oh well I’ll try again on Sunday. 

Two funny things happened:

1. At one point Val tried to backflip into side stage but accidentally went head first into a huge light that was there lol
2. At the very beginning of Seria Facil, Peta’s hair got caught in the sleeve of her dress and when she pulled her arm away a piece of her extensions came off. It was so funny but I felt bad for her lol
