Okay, didn't read the article too closely....scanned it really, but that quote about him wanting to Marry Peta a couple of years ago has my eyes rolling.........what happened to his quote about their break up and the "just not feeling it"? I don't know.......I just can't figure him out, but WHATEVER......if he is happy then so be it. I just think from his own mouth and actions, he contradicts himself.

My last post might have come off a little harsh or angry. That is not my intent. I am happy that he has found someone whom he believes "completes him". I hope they do have a happy life like they are hoping and planning for.

(Please don't hate me for posting the news, just felt we should all be up to date on the happenings)..
I sure hope no one feels that way, CEK....I'd like to be able to stay current - and catch all the activities that lead up to a wedding. Of course, I could just follow them on twitter I guess.

I've been watching 'Charlie's Country', the movie you mentioned the other day, view. Have you seen it yourself in the meantime? It touches on key issues, alcoholism, substance abuse, reduced life expectancy etc. I think it's very much on the mark. There are parks here in Adelaide too, where efforts are made to prevent indigenous people from hanging out in groups. It's obviously very low budget, partly funded by public money from our state (South Australia), shot in Kakadu National park. I've been there around August/September. The birdlife is magnificent at the right time of the year. My son's school has a number of students who identify as indigenous. We have had an indigenous school counsellor who teaches them traditional ways of their culture. They form a recognised group at the school which is great for their sense of pride and belonging.
gabriele, I noticed that it was available to watch On Demand...I looked up on the Rotten Tomatoes website to learn more about it, and had determined that it should be interesting. So by then it had dropped out of the On Demand movie list ! 
If you recommend it...I will rent it

Ok this just happened. They were auctioning off dance lessons with Tony ($3000), Maks & Val (I think both went for $7000). Rumer came up and volunteered herself to just hang out ($10000). Meryl came up & volunteered a skate lesson and Rumer was the auctioneer. I think it went for $3500. I started taping when Meryl went up there.

10k for just hanging out?!? Holy shit
If money were no object...and it's for charity....I think I'd agree that just hanging out with Rumer / Bruce / Demi would be more fun that having to learn to skate or dance.
