Meryl & Charlie - I forget how fast they are when you see them on tv until you see them skate live. It’s impressive and they make it look easy.

Meryl & Rumer - This was a great idea to have the two champs to a dance together. I hope they have other opportunities to do dances like this together. They are both beautiful dancers. There were a few seconds at the start of the dance that M & R were just by themselves and there’s just a bit more about Meryl that drew my attention to her. Her port de bras (arm movements) were exquisite and done with grace and delicacy that made her stand out. Just beautiful.

Bolero - what a great tribute to an iconic program. It was beautiful because of the build up when they started with the ballroom dancers then the ice dance teams would join one at a time until they all skated together. Love the costumes for this too. I can’t wait to see how this turned out on tv.

The crowd was considerably less this year compared to last year which I also saw. I think last year they close to sold out. But the enthusiasm of the crowd made up for it. I wish Disson would hold this in the Chicago area because there might be more attendance. There’s a lot of skating fans in Chicago but wouldn’t drive 2 hrs in December to see a show. I’ve been to the Chicago SOI shows and those really sell well at the All State Arena.

Rumer was a good co-host although she was only seen at the start but she would get the crowd going. I think she was sick and sounded like she was hoarse.

Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

Oh, how exciting.  I can't wait to see this on TV.  I just might tape it to.  Be sure to let the sisterhood know when it is on.

This is the first year this many has decorated the outside of the houses we have one or two that go way way overboard but I am not sure what got into them this year...and so of them look like they just bought a bunch of lights, those blow up lighted figures and then lights and they mix the white with the colored...

Put up a few lights outside and a few things around the house. No tree, but have poinsettias around.  Seems like I am late this year...only bought one gift so far...lol

LOL....we are apparently all a little late this year
