    Nice little ski village.  Not far from where gunner lives actually.  she lives at the base of those mountains.

    I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer.     Kids will be here on Christmas...and for most of 2 weeks...at least the northern contingent. Only a couple days with the SD group...and they have dog sitting problems now apparently.

    is there going to be a cross over time when they are all there???

     
    Christmas and the next 2 days.  One of the kids has her birthday on the 27th.

    I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person.     Yeah--it's 2 hrs. up and 2 hrs. back!! Our friends love to go there for lunch (!!) and some shopping. There was snow ont he ground, which was a surprise because I didn't know it had snowed up there! Ski lifts were working but not alot of skiers.     NO! Just the local mountains....I think they are the San Bernardino mountains!!! Not really sure!!! LOL Sierras are on the eastern side of the state by Nevada. They are the biggies. We were at Big Bear Lake--about 6,700 ft. elevation.

    oh ok....LOL.....geography is not my best....LOL......so is big bear the lake the guys went on the fishing trip too??

    IDK....I kinda doubt it.  Not that much water in it at the moment!!  I suppose it might be but I would think they'd more likely go to a lake north of LA (Big Bear is east).  They don't seem to like to travel too far!!  LOL  LOL

    I know...huh?  I was clueless about snow actually on the ground up there....and on the rooftops too!  So it must have been from the cold front that went thru here a couple days ago.  It was, of course, thawing today.  LOL

    Yeah...it will be a full house..but this time daughter and family will sleep at her MIL's the whole time so they don't explode our house!!!!  LOL  It is crazy at Christmas with all the stuff and the wrappings and trappings, etc.  I'm ok with not having to cook like a short order cook!!!  LOL
