Sounds like an interesting combination, at least entertaining. We might well have him, april. I don't know. It's more that I know a lot less, or let's say practically nothing of what's going on in TV land. Will google to see it anything rings a bell.
Somehow I'm thinking he hasn't made it here. Googling his name and 'Australia', returns Richard Simmons, the farrier!!! *lol*

The fire response was quickly upgraded to four aircraft. It is contained now. But phew that was awfully close for comfort. We live on a hillside with a 180 degree vision from various spots of our place. If I had gone around the other side of the hill, I would have seen it or at least the smoke. (too hot still to check it out). There were a number of paddocks and two country roads between. I can say with certainty that the wind the way it was today kept us out of harm's way. I feel worn out just for the tension and adrenaline alone. I think I will have a few of the egg noggs and Denims that went round earlier to settle down the nerves. My childhood memories of Christmas go back to Germany, snow, real Christmas trees which we didn't get put up until Christmas Eve itself and then not Santa, but the 'Christkind' coming. My Dad who passed away in June used to play the accordion and sang quite respectably as the only one in family with a decent voice. My family wasn't Christian, but it was a special time we shared as a family regardless.

I'll say a quick good morning --- in German. For you, gabriele.
Do you have more than 1 road down and off the hill where you reside? Stay safe and try to stay cool during this awful heat wave you guys are having. Don't work too hard.

It sure was nice to see 6, 7 sisters on board last night for the Christmas party. And at one time I noticed 18 guests "in the room" as well!

I've included the link to Derek's Instagram because he captioned this picture with quite a lengthy "conversation" with Socrates along the right panel.

No time for chit chat, ladies. I'll check in later during a lull in the activity.

Hi, everyone! I remembered in the middle of the night that we were having our virtual party. I couldn't sleep, so I fugured I would check in. But my little munchkin decided that was the time to wake up and make me snuggle with her. I'm sitting at the tire place for an alignment and am alternating between catching up here and FB and working on Christmas cards.
Gabriele, I'm glad you are ok!
Even though I so don't have time for this, I'm taking my older two to Star Wars tonight. They wanted to see it early to avoid spoilers. My daughter's boyfriend saw it late last night with his family, and he is freaking out about how awesome it is.
Then tomorrow we switch gears for the holiday dance show. So, I'll try to check in but may be M.I.A. for a bit.

Hi, vmmmom ! We missed you last night. CEK and I were late logging on, as we had other programs and things to attend, and of course Jet has to log on late with the time difference. Gabriele had her challenges!!
But one thing I asked last night is, What is your earliest Christmas memory?
Do you have a very early memory? And as we chatted, it morphed in to simply ... memories of the season.

I don't know if I'm the only one....HRM2U certainly must have....but we do have snow here for Christmas!!
Just a light snowfall of about 2 1/2 inches finally came about a week ago. And heavily frosted trees from overnight fog - lasted a few days. Snow is like batt insulation you know. Things get much quieter.... it's a different world.
Many places around us got much more snow - road and travel problems related to it for a couple of days. But I'm happy with my 2 1/2 inches making everything look clean. : ))
