Good morning to you.
I have a couple of things I could post...
I am quite sure this is not gabriele's region of Australia. But the wildfires have erupted again this year in the extreme heat they've been having. And on Christmas Day. 103 homes destroyed is what I read online.

And a little DWTS pictures from twitter.

Bitterly cold here today - below zero. Clear, sunny, no wind though. That helps.
Have a great day. friends. Wish we could get together over a hot toddy, mulled wine, or just a steaming cup of Chai.

Good Day After Christmas...Well it is finally in the mid 60's here so it feels more like fall than winter but a bit better than summer...LOL
I am in hopes that you all had a wonderful Christmas and you actually had time to enjoy your family and friends. Now we look to a New Year...I for some reason have always liked New Year as it a new beginning. You can get rid of old paper clutter from the previous year and you take down the Christmas decorations and clean up and even though things look a bit bare and plain after the decorations are all gone it is new and clean. I do not make resolutions but I do make a list of things that I would like to accomplish in the that is to come. I know it may sound a bit silly but it makes me feel I think "hopeful" for the New Year ahead.
View would you start a new thread for the New Year on it's eve for us????
