Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

Good morning to you.

I have a couple of things I could post...

I am quite sure this is not gabriele's region of Australia.  But the wildfires have erupted again this year in the extreme heat they've been having.  And on Christmas Day.  103 homes destroyed is what I read online.

You're right, view.  It is in Victoria, at the coast along the Great Ocean Road.  We are in South Australia.  We had another on in the interim around 15 km away with strong wind.  Luckily there were nearly 20 units onto it in a short time so it couldn't gain momentum.  It is easier to draw the resources together in a more densely populated area. Hope everyone, including our lurkers, had a great Christmas and loved to hear from KOS after such a long break.  xox

And Happy 2 days After Christmas to you.   I bet you ARE exhausted, April.  I don't think I have ever ached in so many odd places as I did Christmas Eve night...took 2 advil before bed and again at 3:30 in the morning.  But it was a wonderful get together. And so worth the effort.

If this "sorority" of sisters, and our coming together from such a superficial start (fans and shippers of two people on a tv show!!)  if it had not one happy outcome --  had not one positive thing about it,

except that we were there, together, when the earth-shattering news and diagnosis hit your family, april....

and were therefore able to huddle around you, hold your hand and hug you, pray for you and our niece, and hopefully give you an outlet where you could pour out your feelings...

If only for that and that alone,

This Sisterhood is the best and dearest thing.

God Bless us all in the coming year.   And may we stay in touch.

I have never heard this April, but is is lovely...

I must mirror Views thoughts that we the "Sisterhood" is a wonderful and dear thing....and I am so glad that we have been there for April and our niece and for all of our sisters when they needed a hand to hold and a shoulder to lean on or just someone to listen to.  It is nice to know that somewhere out there one of you is there...we do have something very special and I am happy and blessed to be in the "Sisterhood"
