I was going to post a really beautiful photo this morning, but I wasn't able to take it!!! LOL
Went out at 9 AM and as we drove out onto the boulevard there was the most STUNNING sight of the entire San Gabriel and San Bernardino Mountains for as far as the eye could see from west to east with obviously several feet of SNOW from top to almost the bottom of the entire range!!! It was sooooo AWESOME and something we rarely see...especially in the past several years. We've had rain for the past 2 days with times of sunshine and clear sky, as is typical of the west.
So I intended to drop hubby off where he was going, go home and pick up the iPad so I could take a photo to post, but by the time I was close to that moment, the mountains were covered in clouds...so the moment had already left!!! Maybe tomorrow.....It is quite something to behold--and something I would love to share with everyone. Will keep my eyes peeled, as my dear mother would say (God rest her soul)!!
Ski resort operators should be in tall cotton. as they say, today and for some weeks coming.

Will be going out again in a bit so will take the iPad and hope to find a clear shot! Best time would be in the early morning, so maybe tomorrow. Hubby said we had a thunder and lightning rain storm during the nite. Hmmm....seems I slept right through it!! HAHA I recall nothing!!!
