The plot thickens, ladies....

They certainly must have no idea of what was to come,
 for romantics saw in Meryl’s eyes a special glow so bright
it seemed to melt his perceived bad boy image and reputation.
 
One night, after rehearsal, Meryl was caught off guard when Maks appeared
At the doorway, just staring.
 
 "Wanna go for a coffee...drink?"
"Sorry, Maks...Val already asked.  And I have a hang-over from.... last night's afterparty...so, nah."
 
Maks' face fell like a
