Anyone remember that I chatted with a woman in PetCo who had her young male Standard Poodle with her.  She had said that she needed to re-home him as her therapy dog did not treat him very well.

She called me the day I got back from Arizona.  "Are you interested in Rio?  I really want a good home for him and wanted to talk to you before advertising in the newspaper."

I said I would take him for a few hours for a couple of days just to see his personality, temperament, etc.
We've had him twice now...and I am so impressed.  Sweet, quiet, no drama, yet playful (therapy dog never let him have any toys!!)

Hubby won't be back until next week. He is the one who thinks we should remain pet-less so we can travel more easily.  When I told the owner this, she had a ready answer.  "I'd love to take him back for a week or two whenever you want to be gone."

Hmmmmm.

Here he is playing with granddaughter in the back fenced yard.  (The have no yard where he is now...just an outdoor 8x8 kennel

AW.........It sounds like a great offer to me.

Friendship is a priceless gift that can't be bought or sold, its value is far greater than a mountain made of gold.
May this FriendSHIP always have wind in its sails and a sunrise on the horizon.

I don't think I can bring the actual video over either, but I did a screenshot of a cute part of it...

He asks her if this is her favorite color.
She says, no, purple is my favorite color.
Gleb then says, there's no school this week right? So we can paint your nails.

Great picture...

Making plans to plant a lilac bush in the back corner of the yard - under which to bury ashes of sweet poodles,

when it occurred to me...shouldn't it really be a flowering DOGWOOD ?

Let kindness attend every gift and good deed, and love warm every Christmas greeting.

And here's a cute accent to certain yards.

(Though I could live without the troll!)

Hmmmm maybe...my mom had tried several times to plant a dogwood tree but they never lived...She had a beautiful lilac in the yard but it got ruined when someone ran through the fence after my son and DIL moved in...

Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

Afternoon Sisters...I have returned and showered from helping my grandchildren plant 4 hosta plantain lily plants in the front yard by the front door.  However Kaleb was the biggest helper...Kenzie didn't want to get her hands dirty and well Kaylee just wanted to dig up the dirt and throw it back in the yard...

I hope they live...there were quite a few roots from the old oak tree that my mom and dad had in the front yard and the boxwoods that were planted in the same place but have been gone for years...

Well I hope everyones day going...it turned out to be a lovely day here...So much I want to do but my old bones are telling me "don't ...LOL

Well I wonder what the afternoon will hold in the way of news....
