May this FriendSHIP always have wind in its sails and a sunrise on the horizon.

How are you doing, CEK? How are the furbabies doing? And the family?

Hey Jet...I am doing pretty good...Furbabies are resting the kitties are doing great the doggy is doing pretty good too since just having major surgery.  The family are doing alright too.  Still trying to get use to the fact my MIL is gone.
How are you doing?

I'm out of breath reading what you've been dealing with! I'm great....thanks for asking.

My MIL funeral on Wednesday and then our dog having emergency surgery to remove his spleen which had a tumor on it.  Praying that the biopsy is all good.  We actually thought we would not bring him home as we had to make the decision to not wake him up if there were spots on his liver....

Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

wait what did I miss....what surgery did your dog have?????

Friday he was just acting not himself.  We took him to the vet and they did blood work and then xrays and found a mass on his spleen and fluid (blood) in his abdomen.  They recommended surgery immediately.  The difficult thing was they told us that if they go in and there are large places on his liver that we should make the decision if to wake him up or not because if it cancer it is very aggressive.  We were in shock thinking that we may not bring him home and that that was the last time we would see him.  By the grace of God there were no visible spots on his liver, but we have to wait for the biopsy...

🤞🙏  for the 🐶

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Not sure I could make that decision......especially on the spur of the moment....
