Okay, You great wonderful, fantastic sisters have lured me out of lurk dome today. lol

First, View......glad the results are good for your ex.  I bet your family is relieved.  Keep us posted.  Glad that your cakes turned out great.  Happy eating. LOL  I think I will wait until I see the premier and dances before I make a prediction; However, I am leading towards Paula being the first to go.  Kind of makes me sad as I really like Louis and do not know much about her other then the little I have seen in the press.  I am taking a wait and see attitude with the "stars", mainly as I do not know who they are. LOL

Gabriele, thanks for the pictures of the Royal Adelaide Show.  Looks interesting, especially to this non-Aussie. LOL  What kind of animal is that?  It looks like a cross of some sort of an Ox. LOL  Was it you that thought the final would be between Derek/Bindi and Sharna/Nick?   I had those same thoughts a couple of days ago. LOL

CEK,  I had a taco salad for lunch.  LOL

APRIL !!!!!!!!!!   You made me laugh and put a smile on my face with the Richard Simmons posts.  I hide my head in shame (or up proudly)  as I too had those videos. LOL  Those random posts you throw in are great. LOL

This is true.....glad you came out to play.

I will say good night.   Maybe CEK will catch some of things that are out there this evening....or in the morning.

Oh, should we ask Cassidy, Carrie, some of the working sisters to suggest which night is best for them for a Throwback Party?

Hi Luv,
the Highlands are an ancient meat cattle breed from Scottish Islands and Highlands (North Atlantic coast), mentioned first in the 6th century AD. No other breed would withstand these conditions. They are smaller in frame, could defend themselves against wolves and are still used to protect sheep herds and can be used pull carts.. The hide is great for rugs.   Apparently back in the days they brought them inside to warm up their dwellings and spun their wool for clothing. Not sure what they do here in Australia, the hottest continent as their coat makes them less heat tolerant, especially the calves who do not shed yet.  Meat is getting popular as it is low in cholesterol; it tastes similar to bison.  It arrived in America (Montana, Wyoming) from Canada after mid 1800th.  Used in small farming, organic farming and has a docile temperament which makes it suitable for the beginner.  They can exist on poor pastures and like poison ivy!!!

Now that's probably all I ever needed to know about them. *lol*  But interesting!  I've seen some of them around here, but not very common.

Maybe we could include a column to predict the finalists?  If that's not too much trouble, view.....

INTERNATIONAL BACON DAY!!!

I go between " A pig had to die for this" and not being to resist it.  Didn't eat any today though. I wonder if Rachael Ray did; she says that everything is better with bacon.

gabriele has a tasty cancer fact above me...

I find myself more and more eating what is usually referred to the Mediterranean type of diet.  Just naturally love that type of food.   Wish I could get my husband to eat more that way...

I wanted to post this yesterday - I know that it was Father's Day in Australia.

I think Bindi is quite comforable with the memory and passing of her father.  That is, she seems to have no trouble talking about him as I have seen in interviews.

Someone had said they hoped the show would not exploit the emotional tug of the tragedy.  Me too.
